Guest check-in will be located to brand new lobby at the South Tower instead. Breakfast will be served at Chatterbox (Level 38/39,Grand Tower) and the Mandarin ballroom (Level 6, South Tower)
Other areas which will be closed include swimming pool, the F&B outlets-Meze Bar, Triple 3 and the function rooms- Mandarin Court and Belvedere.

The biennial National Chinese Music Competition is set to be more intense than ever! Join in the excitement and fervour as some 500 young musicians strive for top honours at the Competition. Competing categories include ensemble and solo performances on the dizi, erhu, guzheng, pipa, suona, yangqin and zhongruan.
The Competition will culminate in a Prize Winners' Concert (13 December, 7:30pm) featuring new and outstanding young musical talents and a series of Masterclasses (14 December, 9am-5pm) conducted by the Competition's international adjudicators.

The million-dollar contract will have J C Sum and Ning performing their illusion show for 16 months, from
1 September 2008 – 31 December 2009. The show will run 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday with show times at 5.00pm & 7.00pm.
