In addition, a percentage of the bar's monthly profit will go towards the Arts Fund, in support of the local performing arts. So, order that extra drink when you are there.

ASIA'S FIRST LUXURY TERMINAL

Singapore's very own luxury terminal is now opened. As part of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore's (CAAS) efforts to provide the widest range of services, from budget to the ultra exclusive, Changi Airport has opened Asia's first 'stand-alone' luxury terminal offering five-star facilities and services to the jet-set class. It aims to create a different experience for travellers known in the aviation business as a Commercially Important Person (CIP) before he even boards the flight.

Long immigration and security queues are passe for these travellers. For a fee, he will be whisked from entrance to boarding the plane in as little as 30-minutes. It starts the minute he arrives at the gate - the bags are taken care of, his boarding pass and security clearances are done within a couple of minutes. He then relax till it is time to board, at which time an electronic cart takes him right up to the gate. He can even pay for a limousine to drive him on the tarmac right up to the foot of the plane ~ Now who says you have to be a rock star to get such star treatment!

SINGAPORE ZOO'S RAINFOREST WALK

In line with its aspiration to transform into a Rainforest Zoo, the Singapore Zoo has completed its Rainforest Walk; a trail aimed to offer visitors the vicarious experience of the wonders of nature.

Rainforest Walk is a beautifully landscaped path featuring diverse tropical flora that starts at the park's entrance. The cascading sound of a 3-metre high waterfall and a meandering stream offers an alternative route through a gravel path to Gibbon Island. Above the waterfall, a group of free ranging orang utans resides. Some of the other residents at Rainforest Walk are the free-ranging cotton-top tamarins, an endangered primate species, and birds like the Papuan wreathed hornbill.

The Singapore Zoo is not just a tourist attraction; it is also an institution of experiential learning for all visitors, young and old.

VIVO CITY ~ Singapore's newest multi-experiential Lifestyle Haven!

Located in the heart of the HarbourFront ground, VivoCity brings together the very best in shopping, dining and entertainment under one roof.

Inspired by the natural surroundings of the harbour front, award-winning Japanese architect, Toyo Ito, created a light, fluid, relaxed ambience around VivoCity. Skylights bring the city and nature together - while the flowing surface configuration leads you intuitively from one experience to another.

This vibrant, colourful playground with its repertoire of activities is truly the ultimate oasis for everyone. It is home to Singapore's largest and most luxurious multiplex cinema that offer film buffs an incredible entertainment experience. For the shopping specialist and food connoisseur, an abundance of dining, lifestyle and fashion options awaits you...but be prepared for a good workout because you have lots of walking to do.
