ASIA'S
FIRST LUXURY TERMINAL
|
Singapore's very own luxury
terminal is now opened. As part of the Civil Aviation
Authority of Singapore's (CAAS) efforts to provide the
widest range of services, from budget to the ultra exclusive,
Changi Airport has opened Asia's first 'stand-alone'
luxury terminal offering five-star facilities and services
to the jet-set class. It aims to create a different
experience for travellers known in the aviation business
as a Commercially Important Person (CIP) before he even
boards the flight.
|
|

|
Long immigration and security queues
are passe for these travellers. For a fee, he will be whisked
from entrance to boarding the plane in as little as 30-minutes.
It starts the minute he arrives at the gate - the bags are
taken care of, his boarding pass and security clearances are
done within a couple of minutes. He then relax till it is
time to board, at which time an electronic cart takes him
right up to the gate. He can even pay for a limousine to drive
him on the tarmac right up to the foot of the plane ~ Now
who says you have to be a rock star to get such star treatment!

learning for all visitors, young and old.
