TERMS
& CONDITIONS
1)
VALIDITY
Package rates are valid from 01 April 2008 to 31 March 2009
unless otherwise indicated.
2) RATES & PRICES
2.1 All prices quoted are nett in Singapore Dollars (inclusive of 10% service charge and thereafter 7% Goods and service tax (GST), computed as 16.77%) unless otherwise stated. They are non-commissionable.
Siam Express reserves the right to amend the prices accordingly, should the taxes be raised or new taxes introduced within the stipulated validity period.
Prices does not include meals unless specified, beverages, airport taxes, expenses of a personal nature, visa fees and gratuities to tour guide, driver and any personnel of service providers.
2.2 All rates are based on per person and only applicable if reservations and payments are made through Siam Express Pte Ltd. All package rates are based on pre-booked services.
3) PAYMENT TERM / MODE
3.1 Unless credit facility has been granted, we require full pre-payment 30-days before date of arrival. Failing which, passengers will be required to settle all payment directly to Siam Express.
Payment can be made via bank draft or telegraphic transfer to the following account. Bank charges imposed by payer’s bank shall be borne by payer. Any short payment due to bank charges incurred by payer, Siam Express reserves the right to charge an additional SGD 100.00 (excluding any bank charges imposed by payer’s bank), over & above the total invoice amount.

4)
CANCELLATION / NO SHOW POLICY
4.1 In
case of cancellation or no show, a cancellation charge will
be levied as follows.
- No Show – 100% charge of total invoice amount shall apply.
- Less than 07 working days – 100% charge of total invoice amount shall apply.

Less than 14 - 08 working days – 50% charge of total invoice amount shall apply..
During closed-out and peak seasons, any cancellation less than 30 working days is subject to full cancellation charge.
4.2 Siam Express must be notified in writing of any amendments and cancellations via fax or email. Amendments and cancellations shall take effect only upon receipt of an acknowledgement and acceptance by Siam Express.

OTHERS
5.1 Minimum
stay of 3 Days and 2 Nights is required.
5.2 Confirmation
of all services is subject to availability and must be confirmed
in writing from Siam Express.
5.3 No
refund, in full or in part, will be given for services included
in the programme that is not utilised.
5.4 Siam
Express reserves the rights to assign the type of vehicle
used at our discretion. Siam Express reserves the rights to
change, amend or withdraw part or whole programme at our discretion.
5.5 Passport
must have minimum six months validity before arrival in Singapore.
Visa may be required for nationals of some countries. Please
check with the Singapore Embassy/Consulate in your country.
Countries that require advance visa application, please ensure
that this is completed prior to arrival in Singapore.
5.6 Gratuities
are not included and should be paid directly to driver guide
/ foreign guide at the end of the tour/journey if your clients
are pleased with their service.

RESPONSIBILITY
Siam Express Pte Ltd is acting as a ground-handling agent, assume no responsibility for liability in respect to service of any conveyance or hotel used. Neither will we be made responsible for any act, error or omission or any injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned by any reason. In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort and well being of the passengers or for any reason whatsoever, to alter the arrangements, such alteration may be made without penalty to Siam Express. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers. Conversely, refund will be made by Siam Express through our overseas operators to passengers if any saving is effected as a result of the alteration. Siam Express will not be responsible for loss tickets, coupons or any adverse weather conditions. Siam Express reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the package should conditions warrant.

LIABLITY
Siam Express hereby acknowledge on behalf of all its agents and passengers, that each person enters the premises of its contractors (not limited to hotels, public facilities, attractions) at his/her own risk and must deemed to take the premises with everything hereon as he/she finds it with notice of the nature, condition and state hereof including the fact that no amount of precautionary measures can completely avoid the risk of SARS infection or any other infectious diseases. No person shall have or make any claim against Siam Express or its employees, contractors, agents whether for any damage, losses, costs or expenses or otherwise (Losses) that may be occasioned (whether arising out of, related to or in connection with SARS or any other infectious diseases) whether or not such Losses are in any way whatsoever due to any act, breach of duty, default and/or omission on the part of Siam Express and its employees; or on the part of its agents and contractors or their respective employees. You shall indemnify and hold harmless Siam Express in respect of any and all such claims made by your employees, agents, families, contractors and customers.
8)
GOVERNING LAW
The terms of this contract shall be interpreted in accordance with the law of Singapore as that law is construed and amended from time to time and any action in conjunction with this contract shall be brought in the Singapore court having jurisdiction.
