GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Price
Quoted in Singapore Dollars inclusive of prevailing government taxes, unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to amend the rates accordingly, should the taxes be raised or new taxes introduced in the future.

a) Price does not include meals unless specified, beverage, airport taxes, expenses of a personal nature, visa fees and gratuities to tour guide, driver and room maid.

Reservations
Reservations to be made either via email to fit@siamexpress.com.sg / group@siamexpress.com.sg or via Fax : (65) 6737 1435. Confirmation of booking for all services is subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing by Siam Express.


Travel Document
Passengers should possess a national passport with minimum 06 months validity during their visit. Any visa requirements are to be borne by individual, settle prior to beginning of trip.

Health & Immigration
Passengers should familiarise themselves with any health or visa problems that may be applicable in the areas which they intend to visit and shall be responsible for all exit, entry, health and other documents required by law. In the event where passenger entry is denied by the Authorities, Siam Express will not be liable for any loss or expense due to passengers' failure to comply with the above.

Failing to adhere to the above, Siam Express Private Limited will impose the following:

1. Late cancellation fee equivalent to the contract rate for one night in the choice of hotel confirmed for each room not taken up, after the minimum notice date has passed.
   
   
2. In case of non-arrival of tourist group or individual tourists without advance notice, Siam Express Private Limited shall be compensated 100% for tourist services confirmed.
   
   
3. Siam Express Private Limited reserves the right to forfeit all advance payment received in the case of non-arrival without advance notice (as aforesaid above).
   

Family Plan / Children
Hotels apply their own individual policies for children. Typically, one child (age 2-11 years) is allowed to stay free of charge with 2 full paying adults utilising existing bedding in the same room. Maximum room occupancy is subject to individual hotel policy. Child breakfast is chargeable at a discounted rate.

Private transfers and sightseeing tours pricing for children (age 2-11 years) are granted a 50% discount off the applicable adult price. Quantity pricing is based on the number of adult passengers but subject to a minimum of 2 paying adults. This does not apply to SIC services.

Arrival Procedures in Singapore
Upon arrival at Singapore Changi Airport either Terminal 1, 2 or 3, passengers are to:

1. Proceed through immigration
   
2. Identify the respective arrival conveyor belt for baggage collection
   
3. Custom clearance
   
4. Exit from the respective arrival belt and gate

Our representative will be holding a banner bearing either Company or Passenger names, at the respective arrival gate. As each Terminal has many arrival gates, therefore, it is essential for passengers to exit from the correct arrival belt and gate.

Our representative will wait for a maximum of 1.0 hour after flight arrival time before declaring passengers no show. In the event, passengers take longer than 1.0 hour, it will be their responsibility to make their own way to the hotel and Siam Express will not be liable for any refund of taxi fares or replacement of services. In such case, the usual arrival charges will still be levied.

Payments
Unless credit facility has been granted, we require full pre-payment before date of arrival. Failing which, passengers will be required to settle all payment directly to Siam Express.

Payment can be made via bank draft or telegraphic transfer to the following accounts. Bank charges incurred shall be borne by payer. Any short payment due to incurred bank charges, Siam Express reserves the right to charge an additional SGD 100.00, over & above the total invoice amount. For payment via credit card, an admin fee of 5% for VISA and 3% for American Express, respectively will be imposed. Admin fee is subject to change without prior notice.

For reservations confirmed less than 7 days of passengers' arrival, full payment is required upon booking confirmation from our office.

Cancellation
Siam Express must be notified in writing of any cancellation either by fax (65) 6737-1435 or email to fit@siamexpress.com.sg. A notice is only considered effective if an acknowledgement is confirmed in writing by Siam Express. Cancellation charges will be imposed for:

Refund
No refund will be made to passenger with cancellation notice less than 3 working days prior to arrival. Additionally, no refund will be made in the respect of any tours, transfers and accommodations or any other services not utilised.

Refunds will be made within 2 weeks of the date the cancellation was received. If Siam Express withdrew the package as a result of force majeure (eg. Storms, flood, acts of God, trade dispute, hostilities, government acts of regulations, failure of sub-contractors to perform, etc) then Siam Express shall be entitled without liability to cancel or withdraw any packages. Should such circumstance arises before passengers' departure, Siam Express shall endeavour to make reasonable alternative arrangements for the passengers. Any extra costs are payable by the passengers through our tour operators to Siam Express. In the unlikely event that the tour is cancelled by Siam Express prior to departure, all monies will be refunded and Siam Express will be under no liability for damage or compensation to passengers.

Liablity
Siam Express hereby acknowledge on behalf of all its agents and passengers, that each person enters the premises of its contractors (not limited to hotels, public facilities, attractions) at his/her own risk and must deemed to take the premises with everything hereon as he/she finds it with notice of the nature, condition and state hereof including the fact that no amount of precautionary measures can completely avoid the risk of SARS infection or any other infectious diseases.

No person shall have or make any claim against Siam Express or its employees, contractors, agents whether for any damage, losses, costs or expenses or otherwise (Losses) that may be occasioned (whether arising out of, related to or in connection with SARS or any other infectious diseases) whether or not such Losses are in any way whatsoever due to any act, breach of duty, default and/or omission on the part of Siam Express and its employees; or on the part of its agents and contractors or their respective employees.

You shall indemnify and hold harmless Siam Express in respect of any and all such claims made by your employees, agents, families, contractors and customers.

Responsibility
Siam Express Pte Ltd is acting as a ground-handling agent, assume no responsibility for liability in conjunction with service of any conveyance or hotel used. Neither will we be made responsible for any act, error or omission or any injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned by any reason. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort and well being of the passengers or for any reason whatsoever, to alter the arrangements, such alteration may be made without penalty to Siam Express. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers. Conversely, refund will be made by Siam Express through our overseas operators to passengers if any saving is effected as a result of the alteration.

Siam Express will not be responsible for loss tickets, coupons or any adverse weather conditions. Siam Express reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the package should conditions warrant.

Governing Law
All matters arising are subject to Singapore Law.
